This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Leidos mission. In this mission, we provide aerial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms for today’s warfighter.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nProvide onsite production support for subcontractor, act as manufacturing liaison between Leidos engineering and production facility.\nSupport engineering tasks for lead manufacturing liaison, which includes, but are not limited to the following:\nMechanical design, drafting, and review\nCreate/Review formal documentation of issues & track solutions\nHardware manufacturing, outsourcing and, procurement\nDesign review for manufacturability\nQuality assurance and quality control\nDevelopment of procedures and work instructions\nConfiguration management\nProject scheduling and tasking\nProgram management support\nData collection and analysis\nManage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing sound project management principles to prioritize work to meet performance, schedule, and quality objective\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) and minimum two (4) years of experience. Additional years’ experience may be used in lieu of a degree. \nDiverse engineering experience working in an agile (quick reaction) environment\nExperience using parametric 3D CAD software preferably SolidWorks\nProficiency in MS Office suite\nStrong manufacturing process knowledge\nExperience designing structural components, machinery, and sheet metal products.\nExperience with low-volume/custom design and manufacturing.\nExperience with production planning, creating Bills of Material and reviewing manufacturing discrepancies. \nExcellent communications skills to interface with customers and peers\nStrong multitasking and time management skills, including working independently.\nAbility to address manufacturing issues from internal and external sources\nEligible to obtain minimum of Secret clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nISO9001, AS9100, Six Sigma or, similar quality management system experience.\nAircraft structures experience\nActive Secret clearance\nAMSOPP1\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
