We’re seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to work directly with experienced Project Managers, technical teams, and functional staff in executing enterprise-level Air Force IT initiatives. Operate at a scale and with mission relevance second to none.\nAs an intern, you will learn how to plan and manage projects across various IT environments and learn how mission-critical servers, client workstations, and secure networks are deployed, patched, monitored, and maintained in an enterprise military environment.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nAssist in developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project completion.\nCoordinate meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and preparing meeting agendas to facilitate effective communication among project team members.\nTrack project progress by updating project management software and tools, ensuring milestones are met on schedule.\nCompile and organize project documentation, ensuring all necessary materials are accessible for team members and stakeholders.\nConduct risk assessments for projects to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.\nSupport the project manager in liaising with external vendors and stakeholders to maintain communication and project alignment.\nAnalyze project data to prepare reports on project status, performance, and outcomes for internal review and stakeholder updates.\nParticipate in quality assurance processes by reviewing project deliverables and providing feedback to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.\nMonitors and tracks project dependencies.\nCreate a work breakdown structure that defines all activities required for the project deliverables.\nActively monitor, track, and manage project tasks, timelines, attainment of established milestones and overall quality of project activities and deliverables.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or IT, or a closely related field.\nMust be in good academic standing (Rising Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors considered).\n U.S. Citizenship is required.\nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance (or possess an active clearance).
