The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Homeland Enterprise IT Secure Services & Support (HEITS) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). The PM will be responsible for customer relations with the agency POCs, and all projects, deployments, reports and briefings required by the COMSEC COR.\nThe PM is responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives, as well as ensuring that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints.\nThe PM will oversee the COMSEC team and influence development of solutions and processes that impact strategic goals and business results. The PM will recommend and implement new solutions, processes, policies and standards and assist in solving problems that are complex and typically impact multiple area or disciplines.\nThe PM will coordinate with other work centers to ensure that the COMSEC team has all resources needed to fulfill customer requirements. The PM will provide measurable input to new solutions, processes or standards in order to achieve functional/project objectives.\nThis position requires the ability to communicate with executive leadership (both internal and customer) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project. The PM will represent the HEITS program on-site with the customer and will be responsible for ensuring that HEITS COMSEC requirements and COMSEC customer needs are fulfilled while also best representing HEITS and Leidos standards.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSupport the COMSEC COR and ensure that all COMSEC tasks, requirements, and areas of need are documented as part of a COMSEC backlog and ensure full tracking, assignment, and execution of all efforts.\nSupport the development of project schedules for all COMSEC major efforts including Binding Operational Directives, new Software Development/releases, Audits, and other major integration activities.\nAnalyze, design, test, implement and evaluate processes to ensure consistency and documentation to meet customer requirements for projects involving all COMSEC efforts.\n Ensure the tasks of preparing cost estimates for business requirements and following the project through to completion (deployment); researching and recommending new solutions; establishing a good working relationship with customers and keeping customers informed of project status.\nFacilitate solid lines of communication and coordination with the customer and technical teams throughout the lifecycle of the project\nRecommend and implement new solutions, processes, policies and standards and assist in solving problems that are complex and typically impact multiple area or disciplines.\nProvide measurable input to new solutions, processes or standards in order to achieve functional/project objectives.\nInterface with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel and influence development of solutions and processes that impact strategic goals and business results. \nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree and 12-15 years of experience in project management or similar discipline. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nBe able to support a dynamic and demanding work environment and multi-task across multiple priorities.\nPerform effective customer briefings and reporting.\nWork cooperatively as a team member\nWork independently with minimal or no supervision\nPossess strong written and verbal communication skills\nPossess strong customer relationship management and ability to build effective customer relationships\nExperience developing Project Schedules for tracking efforts.\nClearance Requirement: Top secret (Must be able to obtain TS/SCI)\nExperience overseeing Software Development Efforts\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Knowledge of IT network systems with an emphasis on COMSEC.\n· Experience in the DHS classified environment\n· Knowledge of DHS change management, strategic planning, innovation\n· TS/SCI with DHS EOD\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
