The position will have responsibility for the oversight of the design/development, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical ground support equipment and other test equipment. The Project Manager is responsible for delivering the technical scope on the project within the cost and schedule constraints agreed to by the Program Manager. The position will have responsibility for planning, tracking, and execution of complex hardware deliveries within technical, schedule, and budget constraints.\nOther responsibilities include:\nFully responsible for planning the work and directing technical/functional resources to perform work associated with the building, repairing, troubleshooting, testing and/or maintaining electrical ground support equipment and test equipment hardware.\nPlan and execute a hardware centric project - define tasks and required resources necessary to meet program objectives.\nCommunicate and review staffing needs with associated functional managers across assigned project.\nReview and analyze EVM data at the work package (WP) and control account (CA) level in support of Control Accout Manager.\nParticipate in the proposal process by providing work scope descriptions, schedule, and resource inputs.\nProvide inputs to the risk review board.\nEvaluate and guide daily execution activities in support of program objectives.\nWork with program schedulers to updates/status required to maintain program schedule.\nProvide support to the PMO in mitigating cost, schedule, and technical risks related to materials used on the program.\nFoster intra-project coordination and communication.\nFully responsible for planning and directing technical/functional resources to perform work associated with the build and maintenance of the test equipment hardware\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited University and 8+ years of experience are required.\nProven technical leadership skills in project lead roles.\nPreferred Qualifications\nThe following skills/abilities are desired:\nEarned Value Management (EVM) experience\nProgram Management Professional (PMP) Certification\nClear understanding and application of disciplined, metric-driven program management\nExperience with multi-year development/production $100M+ aerospace product development and production programs (Missile, Space Launch and/or Rocket launch systems)\nProven leadership skills in program/CAM roles\nProven history of working in a team environment, fostering communication, listening to teammate concerns and reconciling internal issues or differences\nStrong understanding of hardware development, manufacturing, procurement, production, and integration requirements\nProven experience managing to and meeting tight program schedules\nProficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint\nEffective communication of information between various functional disciplines as well as strong briefing skills/experience with senior leadership\nStrong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills\nProven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions\nAnalytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability\nAppKinetic\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
