The position will report to the Director of Capture Management for the Analysis Solutions Business Area. The position is located primarily in Chantilly, VA and requires a Secret clearance with the ability to acquire a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nThe Sr Capture Manager is responsible for developing and leading the execution of the business area’s overall capture strategy on approved pursuit efforts, increasing the win probability of new and existing projects.\nDuties may include the following:\nOrchestrating bid strategy\nProviding oversight of the development of proposal volumes\nConducting market and competition analysis\nCreating, leading, and supporting capture and proposal teams.\nThe selected candidate should have experience successfully executing corporate business development and capture management processes, and be prepared to bring those skills to the Analysis Solutions Business Area. This includes:\nWorking closely with the Analysis Solutions Business Area Leadership, Account Executives, Line/Market teams, and the required corporate and external capture and proposal resources; and efficiently managing bid and proposal funding\nCoordination and Collaboration includes working with:\nBusiness development and marketing leads to transition from opportunity identification into active capture\nAssembling and managing the capture team to successfully bid and win contracts\nContacting and interfacing with existing and new clients and partners, communicating the organization’s core capabilities, and building differentiated teams of small and large partners\nAdditional responsibilities include:\nLead generations of entire sections, volumes, proposals, and/or captures\nDeveloping solutions to difficult challenges and work through issues that are unclear and require thorough analyses and domain understanding\nCollaborates with internal stakeholders, business development and operations team members, as well as customer leadership and external stakeholders\nWork collaboratively with team members to generate and validate solution designs, process and/or approaches\nParticipate in and/or lead opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, proposal and program reviews, and lessons learned activities; communicates status, resource needs, capture strategy, and recommendations to executive leadership\nOversee the proposal phase of the opportunity to drive successful delivery to the client\nContribute feedback and innovative ideas to the team in support of continuous improvement.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experience\nDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective collaboration and inclusive leadership skills\nFamiliarity with federal government acquisition types, processes, and tools\nDemonstrated skills in areas relevant to business development including: opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer and industry collaboration, and team leadership\nCandidate must possess at least an active Secret clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience capturing and winning business with proven skill at opportunity qualification, stakeholder engagement, solution development, and proposal submission\nProven record of success managing and winning capture efforts within the Intelligence Community.\nExperience in the development and successful negotiation of teaming agreements\nExperience in the development of competitive pricing strategies and associated cost proposals\nActive Top Secret / SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a successful polygraph\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
