You'll work across cloud, application, networking, and security teams to automate workflows, resolve complex technical challenges, and deliver reliable services in a dynamic DoD environment.\nThis is an opportunity to combine your DevOps engineering expertise, cloud integration experience, and technical leadership skills while directly supporting national security missions.\n Location: Hybrid - Adelphi, MD (3 days onsite)\nClearance: U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance and eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead the technical onboarding, integration, deployment, and sustainment of SaaS platforms and Tier 3 (T3) applications supporting the CSSP.\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), configuration management, and automated deployment workflows.\nDevelop scalable DevOps solutions that streamline application integration, improve reliability, and reduce manual processes.\nIntegrate SaaS applications with enterprise authentication, APIs, logging, certificates, networking, and cybersecurity tools.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues across Linux, cloud infrastructure, applications, networking, and security environments.\nServe as a technical escalation point for SaaS integration, deployment, and operational challenges.\nProvide hands-on technical leadership, engineering guidance, code reviews, and task prioritization for DevOps activities.\nDevelop reusable automation scripts, deployment templates, runbooks, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with cloud, cybersecurity, application, and operations teams to ensure secure, reliable service delivery.\nSupport change management, operational readiness, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nHands-on experience in DevOps engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or enterprise SaaS integration.\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, infrastructure automation, and configuration management solutions.\nExperience with containers, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployment tools.\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, including DNS, networking, TLS/SSL certificates, proxies, and application connectivity.\nExperience integrating SaaS or third-party applications with enterprise identity management, logging, cloud, and security services.\nExperience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments.\nAbility to troubleshoot technical issues across applications, operating systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure.\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, collaborate across engineering teams, and deliver solutions in production environments.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.\nMust meet applicable DoD 8140 qualification requirements at start and obtain required CSSP and Computing Environment certifications within 90 days of employment, as applicable to the assigned work role.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting DoD Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) operations, enterprise cybersecurity programs, or other regulated environments.\nHands-on experience with DevOps and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native deployment technologies.\nExperience integrating Elastic Stack, Kafka, ServiceNow, cloud-native logging, or endpoint security platforms.\nFamiliarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.\nKnowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authority to Operate (ATO), DISA STIGs/SRGs, and DoD 8140 requirements.\nPrevious experience serving as a technical lead, mentoring engineers, or coordinating complex DevOps initiatives.\nWork Location / Telework\nAdelphi, Maryland is the preferred work location, with an expectation of onsite presence at least three days per week.\nRemote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates based on technical expertise, experience, and program requirements.\nSecurity Clearance\nActive Secret clearance required to start.\nTS/SCI clearance required for the position, subject to program access and eligibility requirements.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
