Share your resume with us today!\nPrimary Responsibilities.\nSystem level electrical architecture and design\nCreation of block diagrams, electrical system requirements, cable specifications, and cable drawings\nComponent selection and derating activities\nNew hardware design verification testing\nSupport system level integration activities\nBasic Qualifications.\nCandidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.\nCandidate must have 8+ years of experience in hardware system design and test from architecture through implementation\nCandidate must have experience with technical problem solving and root cause analysis\nCandidate must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.\nCandidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment\nCandidate must have the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams.\nCandidate must have cable design experience\nCandidate must have proven understanding of fundamental circuits and circuit components\nCandidate must have hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug/test methods.\nCandidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently\nCandidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.\nPreferred Qualifications.\nExperience with leading small to mid-sized technical teams.\nFamiliarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 class 3 and IPC J-STD-001 Standards.\nElectrical design for military hardware or aerospace systems\nExperience supporting cable production\nExperience with high power applications\nFamiliarity with AS50881 NASA Derating Standard\nCable design experience using SolidWorks Electrical, Creo Schematic, Draftsight, or Microsoft Visio\nExperience with special test equipment design/architecture to facilitate production testing of MIL rated components.\nExperience designing high-power AC electrical distribution systems including generators, UPS systems, transformers, circuit protection, and custom control panels\n**This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience.
