This is a key contributor role for a Leidos focus program with $2B total contract value and annual revenue of $87M that delivers IT solutions to our NASA customer.\nNOTE: This position is 100% telework, with preference given to candidates located in or near Huntsville, AL; Reston, VA; Gaithersburg, MD; or San Diego, CA.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDeliver accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting (inventory, cash, capital), and risk/opportunity management.\nPartner with program teams and cross-functional stakeholders to set cash goals, establish inventory budgets, and support EAC development.\nExecute monthly close activities, including revenue recognition, subcontractor accruals, and journal entries to ensure proper cost cutoff.\nPerform pricing and cost volume support for proposals and strengthen internal/external relationships to drive program growth.\nManage and enhance Power BI dashboards and operational metric reporting; continuously improve reporting processes and systems to increase speed and accuracy.\nProvide ad-hoc cost reporting, performance & profitability analysis, and actionable financial insights to leadership.\nSupport annual planning efforts and perform quarterly inventory and cash flow forecasting; update models as business conditions evolve.\nDevelop internal reporting and recommendations to support senior management decision-making.\nProvide management with timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis to monitor inventory results and enable strategic decision-making.\nAssist with identifying potential accounting issues and driving the resolution to ground.\nProvide inventory guidance to Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Service Delivery to ensure correct charging and process compliance.\nReview inventory balances for accuracy and compliance; run inventory-related close activities and JE preparations.\nPerform slow-moving and obsolete inventory reserve analysis and quarterly updates.\nSupport special projects focused on the best financial practices, internal controls, and inventory/DOS optimization.\nCollaborate across the finance organization to drive process and system improvements.\nOther duties may be assigned as needed.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree with at least 8-12 years of finance experience (Inventory Management, Program Finance, General Accounting, FP&A).\nMust be able to perform functions such as inventory management, financial planning & forecasting, financial analysis, and general accounting. Must be able to extract data from multiple sources and effectively summarize the current financial position of the program.\nHave a comprehensive knowledge of the project finance field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments. This position requires a problem solver that can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analysis of multifaceted, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions.\nMust be committed to customer service, be well organized, be able to plan and prioritize assignments, and be able to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional.\nCan work with remote teams and in a fast-paced environment.\nPropose and implement project/program improvements.\nStrong background in the entire Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, particularly in the development of formulas, v-lookups, and macros.\nDemonstrate advanced analytical skills.\nPositive can-do attitude, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge of Leidos Financial Systems such as Costpoint, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Cognos, Power BI, and ServiceNow.\nMicrosoft Excel (Advanced Level).\nCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:\nU.S. Citizenship is required.\nAbility to obtain and maintain at minimum a Public Trust clearance.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
