Protects and manages classified information and equipment developed by, or en­trusted to, the organization, requiring in-depth understanding of security policies, procedures, and oversight requirements for the proper classification, access, handling, storage, and destruction of classified or sensitive material. Responsible for developing, implementing and analyzing programs ensuring adherence to federal laws, regulations and directives for classification management. Responsible for management of clearance prescreening, verification and maintenance, including upgrades or downgrades, crossovers of existing clearances, continuous vetting, and periodic reinvestigations at all clearance levels. Responsible for foreign visitor and facility access, special and restricted access programs, briefing and debriefing individuals on requirements and responsibilities of privileged access to sensitive programs. Senior levels may also include oversight of threat mitigation, including the planning, development and management of corporate asset protection programs.\nThe ISR/FSO works under the guidance of the Leidos, Military Services Solutions Business Area Security Manager and FSO Security Manager in the application of Leidos security standards and practices to existing government facilities identified by the contract.\nThe ISR/FSO is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The ISR/FSO will directly support the customer and be committed to protecting classified information, assets, and secure spaces. The candidate will serve as a security team member and will directly interface and collaborate with key leaders and customers. Specifically, the candidate will safeguard all assets and information and process/manage OSA and access control requirements and visit requests. This position will provide security management and implementation of security policies and procedures within the facility. Areas of emphasis are physical security, information security, OPSEC, and verification of clearances/accesses. The ISR/FSO will be required to interact with and provide security support to DoD officials. Other duties may be assigned as needed.\nThis position is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S.\nGovernment security clearance and access. Applicants must be eligible to undergo and successfully complete the required background investigation.\nAny offer of employment is conditional upon obtaining the required clearance and access within a timeframe established by the company and/or sponsoring government agency. Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining the required clearance and access throughout the duration of employment.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nConduct ISR/FSO duties in the following areas: process of Prime and Sub DD254s; escorting uncleared personnel/visitors; maintain facility checklists; conduct routine inspections; maintain databases; respond to emerging security-related issues; process outgoing visit requests and validate incoming visit requests; management, maintenance and accreditation preservation of Open Storage Area (OSA).\nConduct Personnel Security processing actions including requesting, reviewing, approving, and submitting clearances packages in accordance with customer requirements. Maintain Personnel Security databases to track new employee security clearance actions and annual security training completion status.\nConduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. Coordinate with Leidos security professionals, program managers, capture managers, counterintelligence investigators.\nCoordinate with external stakeholders, such as government customers, oversight authorities (e.g., DCSA, Air Force), OSA accreditation inspections. \nDocument compliance activities in accordance with the governing authority approved authorization package.\nUpdate and maintain facility check lists, as needed/required. Use centralized services and databases to record clearances, incident reports, movement of personnel, visit requests, etc. to inform the collection of robust performance metrics. \nEnsure cleared personnel are completing and maintaining required security education and training. \nEnsure proper protection and corrective measures are taken when an incident or vulnerability is discovered.\nConduct customer required inspections of OSA and upload results to Leidos and customer databases.\nBasic Qualifications:\nRequires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.\nPrior experience as a Facility Security Officer and/or CPSO\nFSO training certificate for possessing facilities from DCSA\nThrough working knowledge of the NISPOM, Air Force and other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards\nThe position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent and team environment with minimal direction, customer service orientated.\nCommitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers.\nAbility to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations.\nStrong understanding of Physical Security requirements for OSA and collateral Restricted Areas. Along with working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, SF700, SF702 and other required forms.\nThorough understanding of security databases such as SIMS and NISS\nExperience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.\nAbility to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program. Assist in executing the requirements set forth in the Technology Control Plan (TCP) for foreign visitors.\nCommunicates with parties within and outside of own area, which may include external constituents depending upon the area. Requires ability to influence others outside of own area on policies, practices, and procedures.\nExtensive experience with classified and unclassified networks and facility clearance requirements. \nDemonstratable experience communicating information security and risk-related concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills and demonstrate poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations. \nAttention to detail and a high level of accuracy are a must.\nMust be able to work in a constantly changing regulatory environment with short-, mid-, and long-term timelines for remediating any non-compliance.\nMust be highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.\nMust be able to proofread for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and format. \nComputer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.\nExcellent time management and multitasking skills.\nGood planning and organizational skills.\nPrior experience in Personnel and Industrial Security. \nCOMSEC Custodian certificate or experience\nCandidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience establishing/managing construction of secure space per DCSA requirements\nExperience developing and implementing OPSEC plans.\nKnowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems\nExperience conducting Security incident inquiries.\nProfessional Certifications/Affiliations\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
