You'll help evolve a high-performance Java platform that processes large volumes of operational data while transitioning to a modern, containerized architecture.\nWorking alongside experienced software engineers, you'll develop Spring Boot services, build RESTful APIs, optimize relational databases, and contribute to Kubernetes deployments and CI/CD automation. Candidates without Bachelors degrees will require an additional 4 years of software engineering experience.\nMinimum of twelve (12) years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nExperience developing Java enterprise applications using Spring Boot or similar modern frameworks.\nExperience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases such as MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar technologies.\nExperience with container technologies (Docker or Podman), Kubernetes, or other modern application deployment platforms.\nExperience working in Agile development environments using Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.\nSecurity Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing Angular or other modern web applications.\nExperience with microservices architecture, application modernization, or cloud-native software development.\nExperience implementing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.\nExperience tuning SQL performance and supporting high-volume enterprise applications.\nExperience using Jira and Confluence to support Agile software development.\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills across application, database, and deployment technologies.\nExperience supporting enterprise software within secure or classified environments.\nAt Leidos, the opportunities are boundless.
