You'll work with advanced networking technologies, resolve critical incidents, support network migrations, and help improve network performance and security.\nWe're looking for a strong Network Engineer with hands-on Cisco SD-WAN experience who can troubleshoot complex network issues and work independently in a remote environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the Army's global network operations, ensuring 24/7/365 network availability, performance, and security.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, outages, and connectivity issues.\nConfigure, maintain, and support Cisco SD-WAN and enterprise networking technologies.\nExecute approved network configuration changes, security updates, and remediation activities.\nManage incident and service request tickets using Jira Service Desk or other ITSM tools.\nMonitor network performance, capacity, and reliability and recommend improvements.\nSupport network migrations, system integrations, cutovers, and modernization initiatives.\nWork remotely while collaborating with geographically dispersed engineering teams during incident-response bridges, meetings, and troubleshooting activities.\nProvide timely operational updates to the Global Cyber Center (GCC) and program leadership.\nSupport network environments utilizing VMware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and InfoVista.\nParticipate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, holidays, and mission-driven surge support.\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
