We’re known for achieving “industry firsts” in the most challenging maritime domains, as well as supporting well-developed processes and procedures to support excellence in execution for our customers.\nJoin us and be part of a world-class team delivering unmatched solutions for today's most pressing maritime missions.\nWhy Join Us?\n· Make a Mission Impact: See your work directly contribute to U.S. maritime dominance by delivering and sustaining critical systems the warfighter depends on.\n· Turn Capability into Readiness: Support proven technologies through production, integration, fielding, and long-term operational support.\n· Own Real-World Results: Solve the production, quality, supply chain, and sustainment challenges that determine whether complex systems are ready when the mission demands them.\n· Work with an Exceptional Team: Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing professionals, technicians, program teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver reliable systems.\n· Build Capability That Lasts: Help improve how we produce, support, upgrade, and sustain maritime systems throughout their operational lifecycle.\nPrimary Responsibilities\n· Be a senior engineer through the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of advanced maritime and undersea systems, ensuring technical performance and mission success in challenging ocean environments.\n· Apply expertise in ocean engineering, hydrodynamics, underwater acoustics, marine systems, and environmental conditions to solve complex engineering challenges and optimize system performance.\n· Provide technical mentorship across multidisciplinary engineering teams, guiding system design decisions, resolving complex technical issues, and mentoring junior engineers.\n· Plan and execute engineering analyses, modeling, simulations, and laboratory and at-sea testing to validate system performance, reliability, and operational effectiveness.\n· Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement in underwater technologies, including autonomous systems, subsea sensors, oceanographic instrumentation, and maritime platforms.\n· Collaborate with program managers, customers, scientists, and engineering teams to translate operational requirements into practical, cost-effective technical solutions.\n· Lead technical investigations, root-cause analyses, and design improvements to address system performance, reliability, and integration challenges throughout the product lifecycle.\n· Serve as a senior technical contributor in design reviews, customer engagements, technical proposals, and strategic technology development efforts supporting maritime missions.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Ocean Engineering/Naval Architecture or other related discipline.\n15+ years of experience.\nExperience with underwater/marine engineering and the unique applications of working in a maritime environment.\nExperience with SolidWorks software.\nWorking ability to operate OrcaFlex, MathCAD, Matlab, and other analysis tools.\nExperience in undersea hardware system development.\nEffectively work with a team establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with government customers, technical staff, senior managers and peers.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.\nMust have ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance\nMust also be able to:\nA. Climb at least 50 feet of rung ladder to access various parts of a vessel as required\nB. Remain alert during extended working hours\nC. Perceive depth\nD. Drive a company vehicle\nE.
