In this role you will support the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) team to design and implement solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This position will work closely with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDesign, Implements, and troubleshoots DIPN deployment automations.\nIntegrates a variety of familiar and unfamiliar technologies into orchestrated solutions.\nAnalyzes gaps in technology solutions and designs paths to close them.\nFollows directions provided by team leaders in implementation and scope.\nDevelops and follows installation, integration, and test procedures.\nAutomates manual procedures.\nDocuments procedures in clear and unambiguous manner.\nDemonstrates work to a variety of audiences.\nParticipates in and contributes to the team's Agile ceremonies, including daily scrum, Sprint and Program Increment planning, and retrospective meetings.\nHelps teammates to achieve success in their tasking.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.\n US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.\n10+ years of hands-on experience establishing and growing DevSecOps frameworks, specifically utilizing Rancher, ArgoCD and FluxCD for GitOps on a scale.\nDeep understanding of Helm for package management and maintaining large-scale, containerized PaaS environments such as RKE2.\nProficient in modular infrastructure automation with Terraform and Terragrunt, including state management and CI/CD pipeline integration.\nProfessional experience deploying and managing HashiCorp Enterprise solutions in high-compliance or production-grade environments.\nStrong background in automating system management tasks to enforce \"desired state\" and eliminate configuration drift by developing custom scripts and playbooks using Ansible, Bash or python.\nAutomating integration of systems using container technologies (Docker, Podman, Docker Compose/Podman Compose) under version control (e.g., Git) while utilizing IaC tools and frameworks for automation of server and OS deployments (PXE boot, DHCP, Kickstart).\nLinux systems administration and security as well as utilizing virtualization technologies (VMWare, KVM) and 3rd party software such as Nginx, Vault, CoreDNS, dnsmasq, Artifactory etc. Basic understanding of computer networks and related hardware, DNS, etc. and Linux host-based network management.
