We’re known for achieving “industry firsts” in the most challenging maritime domains.\nJoin us and be part of a world-class team delivering unmatched solutions for today's most pressing maritime missions.\nWhy Join Us?\nMake an Impact: Your work will directly support U.S. maritime dominance and national security.\nLead Innovation: Be at the forefront of applying innovative technology and autonomy to real-world maritime systems.\nWork with Experts: Collaborate with a top-tier team of engineers, scientists, and technicians located across the U.S.\nShape the Future: Influence and lead both the strategic and tactical direction of next-generation undersea technologies.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide strategic and programmatic leadership for a large maritime program.\nSupport business development and capture activities, including strategy development and solutioning, shaping of customers needs and requirements ahead of solicitation, on-contract growth, proposal writing, and development of costing.\nDrive technical innovation and product improvements aligned with customer needs and mission goals.\nLead program and capture execution including P&L reviews, staffing needs and projections, funding needs, and strategic importance to the company.\nLead and mentor a matrixed team of engineers.\nTravel when needed (approximately 25% time) to support customer needs and attend applicable conferences or trade shows.\nPrimary Responsibilities\n· Provide leadership and responsibility for a program with complex subsea and surface hardware/software systems within a customer focused environment.\n· Fulfill customer requirements with technical, innovative, cost-effective, and reliable solutions that appropriately leverage advanced technologies and are suitable in support of U.S. Navy programs.\nCollaborate with customer, Leidos technical leads, Leidos engineers, and subcontractors to support daily activities, identify gaps and holes in programs, financial reporting, CDRL development, procurements, solutioning with engineers and customers, and long-term planning.\nCollaborate with Division Manager and other program managers to support business development activities.\nBasic Qualifications\n· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar technical discipline.\n· 20+ years’ total experience in the US Navy environment.\n· PMP Certification\n· Strong customer focus, ability to support team leadership, and establish strong, collaborative working relationships with government customers, technical staff, senior managers, and peers.\n· Strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.\n· History in managing >$200M contracts.\n· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.\n-Able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance (requires US Citizenship)\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Experience in the US Navy programs, contracts, and mission requirements.\nLocated in the Pacific Northwest for in-office collaboration.\nSUBSEAMSS\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
