You will manage day-to-day system operations across client/server, storage, network, mobile, and virtual environments while diagnosing technical problems and supporting reliable system performance.\nYou will administer UNIX, Linux, Windows, and virtual operating environments; support escalated technical issues; configure network components; implement operating-system enhancements; and provide detailed technical analysis to agency management and internal customers.\nWhy This Role Matters\nReliable IT infrastructure requires experienced administrators who can move beyond routine operations to diagnose complex problems, support escalated issues, maintain system integrity, and improve performance.\nAs a Senior System Administrator, you will help ensure critical IT systems remain available, reliable, secure, and responsive to operational needs.\nWhat You'll Do\nSystems & Infrastructure Administration\nManage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.\n\nSupport implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and associated infrastructure.\n\nMonitor and support day-to-day operations across client/server, storage, network, mobile, and related devices.\n\nConfigure and manage UNIX, Linux, Windows, virtual, and other applicable operating-system environments.\n\nInstall and load operating-system software, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain system integrity.\n\nConfigure network components and implement operating-system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.\n\nOptimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system-capacity analysis and planning.\n\nSupport security and STE/STN compliance of system software and hardware as required.\n\nAdvanced Troubleshooting & User Support\nProvide in-depth troubleshooting of IT systems.\n\nAssist users in accessing and using IT systems.\n\nProvide Tier 1 Help Desk and Tier 2 escalation support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.\n\nSupport dispatch-system and hardware problems and remain engaged through resolution.\n\nProvide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.\n\nCommunicate system status, technical issues, and resolution progress to agency management and internal customers.\n\nThis posting is for multiple opportunities\nRequired Qualifications\nClearance\nTS/SCI with Polygraph at the time of Application, to be considered for the position.\n\nEducation & Experience\nTen (10) years of System Administration experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\n\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.\n\nFive (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.\n\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
