They create the environment that drives us toward our mission.\nAre you ready for your next challenge?\nUsing your experience in Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for working with customers and suppliers to execute Systems Engineering activities across the full lifecycle, with a focus on the low level system design.\nYour role and responsibilities:\nMaintain Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix(RVTM).\n\nUpdate artefacts (designs and documents) so that they map to RVTM.\n\nWork with Testers to Review Requirements against Test cases/acceptance criteria, identify gaps, propose solutions and manage exceptions/mitigations.\n\nDefine and update acceptance criteria and get agreement from customer/stakeholders.\n\nSupport the definition and design of interfaces.\n\nVersion Control all relevant SE artefacts and agreed interfaces.\n\nDocument and manage programme V Model activities and Artefacts while liaising with delivery team leads.\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and network components.\n\nDocument data flow and data matrix views of a system.\n\nContribute to Systems Concept of Operations Document through process definition and documentation.\n\nTrack and present progress of deliverables and dependencies\n\nReview and Update Systems Engineering Management Plan(SEMP) when needed.\n\nDocument engineering management/governance processes.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nProven track record with a minimum or 3 years’ Experience in Systems Engineering role for IT/software systems.\n\nFamiliarity in working within at least Systems Engineering Frameworks eg ICOSE, NAF, DODAF, MODAF, MBSE.\n\nGood working knowledge of Software and Hardware used for IT systems technologies.\n\nExperience of Systems Engineering within a Software/IT delivery.\n\nExperience of working within Agile and Waterfall delivery models.\n\nExcellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.\n\nSelf-Starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or suitable experience in an Engineering or Technology subject\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.\n\nIdeally proficient with system modelling tools (e.g., SysML, UML) and enterprise design software/system modelling (eg Cameo, Archimate).\n\nSecurity Clearance/Other:\nAbility to gain Metropolitan Police Service NPPV2 security clearance (essential).\n\nWillingness to gain MOD DV (advantageous)\n\nWork can be done from Home Location\n\nExpected to be in the Farnborough office 2 days per fortnight.\n\nExpected to attend Programme Increment planning 5 Days every 3 months in Leidos Office (Farnborough/Glasgow) Ability to attend customer location (Greater London) when needed.
