The development and successful implementation of this model requires experience with multiple IT skill sets, including AGILE project management, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) integration and configuration, specifically ServiceNow (SN), SN application design and development, enhancement, SN security risk management, and familiarity with requirements for system certification and accreditation.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nThe Customer delivers human capital management technologies and services to the workforce, including data analytics that enable business decisions. They seek to build an integrated enterprise IT support model to drive efficiencies in the talent space and better address strategic requirements associated with learning, training compliance, foreign language development and retention, job advertisements, selection, and performance. The development and successful implementation of this model requires experience with multiple IT skill sets, including AGILE project management, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) integration and configuration, specifically ServiceNow (SN), SN application design and development, enhancement, SN security risk management, and familiarity with requirements for system certification and accreditation. The Software Engineer will work from core hours from 0900 hours to 1500 hours with alternative works schedules discussed on a case-by-case basis. \nThe Software Engineer will follow an Agile methodology for SN software development. \nThe Software Engineer will support the implementation of the Customer's identified objectives and priorities for SN features and functions and actively contribute to the AGILE methodology for software implementation. \nThe Software Engineer will support the implementation of security and development requirements as required by their applications. \nThe Software Engineer will follow the Customer's document management plan that addresses documents required for all their applications and systems, their storage locations and versioning requirements. \nThe Software Engineer will support the implementation of SN reference architecture and documentation as required for Sponsors SN platform. \nThe Software Engineer will design, develop, maintain and document code in support of software applications, databases and cloud services following industry best practices. \nThe Software Engineer will conduct unit, functional, and user testing.\nBasic Qualifications:\nThe ideal candidate will meet all of the listed skills/experiences but this person will work within a team, the client has the ability to approve candidates who meet most of the listed skills/experiences:\nMust have an active TS/SCI with poly to be considered. \nMust have a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience\nExperience with development of ServiceNow applications.\nExperience implementing industry best practices and associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards.\nExperience using agile methodology.\nExperience using Jira.\nExperience proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting business goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components.\nExperience analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, or service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development.\nExperience interfacing with web-based databases and providing reports generation.\nOn-job experience with version control software like Github or Subversion.\nExperience in managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, using service management systems.\nExperience developing IT support documents that include SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge base, pre and post deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.\nExperience working with compliance or performance management applications.\nCertification Requirements:\nService Now Developer\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working with the Sponsor and partner IT organizations.\nExperience working with learning applications.\nExperience working with language, compliance, and performance management applications.\nExperience with cloud technologies.\nExperience with networking and platform hosting technologies.\nExperience with HTML5, CSS, XML, and JavaScript.\nExperience with copyright and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.0 AA).\nExperience with Tableau.\n#MSBA\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
