This position will be part of a team of application developers supporting multiple projects, which include high profile high visibility projects offering technical learning opportunities. Most of our projects are all within the cloud and support multiple mission partners. The ideal candidate will have AWS experience developing for the cloud to include complete secure cloud integrations, optimizing cloud connectivity, and managed cloud services. The selected candidate will be joining a team working on a high priority Salesforce project and expected to come up to speed as quickly as possible.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nThe ideal software developer will have the capacity to develop web applications using Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, and/or Angular. \nServiceNow and Salesforce skills are desirable skill sets to support emerging technology. \nThe developer will work with the overall program team in the design and development of new applications as well as integrating new solutions on existing applications. \nThe candidate will be able to analyze and solve complex application development needs to identify solutions to include potential new tools/technologies. \nA strong candidate will have commanding knowledge of JavaScript software development principles and be energized by the capability to learn and implement new skills. \nThe candidate should be proficient in web application development to include troubleshooting and software upgrades. \nProducts and/or services reside in development, test and production AWS environments. \nExperience working in a DevOps environment developing within an Agile environment using code delivery mechanisms, such as Maven, Ant, continuous build systems such as Jenkins, Nitro, Git, and code repositories such as Subversion.\nBasic Qualifications:\nRequires a Bachelor and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience\nClearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered\n Highly desired for candidates to have Salesforce Development - Platform experience or a willingness to learn/get training on Salesforce quickly.\nExperience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and front-end frameworks including Angular, Vue, and React\nExperience with Python, Java and/or Node\nExperience with Rest API development\nExperience with Serverless Application Development\nWorking knowledge of AWS services, specifically: RDS (MySQL), DynamoDB, Lambda, and Open Search\nWorking knowledge of Automation Tools, specifically: Cloud Formation, Jenkins, and CDK\nComfortable operating in a Linux development environment\nComfortable utilizing VSCode\nExcited about tackling unfamiliar tech stacks and adapting quickly to new tools and challenges\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSalesforce Development - Platform\nApex experience\nLighting web components\nProcess automation\nServiceNow Development/Administration\nDocker Container experience\nExperience developing in PHP or the willingness to learn PHP\nExperience developing HTML views with CSS\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
