The ideal candidate has a familiarity with and a baseline understanding of software development concepts, developing coding skills using different tools, and ambition towards future projects in support of the mission.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPrimary responsibilities will involve building software coding knowledge providing the system administration and modification of existing GOTS code to integrate open-source software solutions for display in a web application.\nThis role will work with programming languages to include C#/Java and JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Shell scripting. \nCreation and documentation of new and existing functionality within software version control repositories (gitlab) and utilizing DevOps principals and tools to deliver new features within an Agile construct.\nParticipate in program Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, Increment planning) to support applications through iteration/functionality utilizing Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).\nParticipate and collaborate with team members to assess tickets to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria.\nBasic Qualifications\nCandidate must have an active Top Secret.\nCandidate must be able to obtain a TS/SCI prior to starting.\nCandidate must be able to maintain TS/SCI and obtain a successful CI poly post hire.\nRequires BS degree or certification and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum 4 year of experience with JavaScript, Python, or C# development framework.\nMinimum 4 years of experience of working with web-enabled applications.\nProactive self-starter demonstrates a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.\nExperience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.\nRequires strong knowledge of core technical principles with awareness of connected technical areas.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, manage workload effectively, and deliver high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, communicate technical concepts to various audiences, and contribute to the development of effective technical solutions and process improvements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAt least 1 years of experience with DOD software requirements.\nAt least 4 year of experience working in a government cloud environment.\nAWS Solutions or DevOps certification\nTeam Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph\nDOD 8570 Compliant Certification (Sec+)\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
