You must be capable of working on multiple projects at once and seeing them all through to completion, and a self-starter who is able to work through any obstacles to get the job done.\nMost of the work will be on site in Leidos' facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Some level of remote/work from home is possible.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters.\nUse Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Git, development operations, collaboration, and source control tools.\nSupport creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.\nIdentify potential roadblocks and develop around them.\nPlan and estimate development tasks and work to improve performance metrics.\nDevelop maintainable code that matches specification.\nWrite and execute unit, E2E, and integration tests.\nWork closely with other engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development and enhancements.\nBuild software solutions where the solution is not always well defined but always considers the customer first\nBasic Qualifications:\nUS Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with 365 days of your start date with Leidos.\nBachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree\nSkillful with (ES6+) JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 broadly.\nSpecific skills in any of the following client technologies preferred: Modern React - Tanstack Query/ReactQuery - StyleComponents - Playbook - CesiumJS - TypeScript\nFamiliar with containerization (Docker/Podman).\nSolid understanding of software development process fundamentals\nPreferred Qualifications:\nUS Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance\nExperience with Agile development principles and methodologies\nWorking knowledge of continuous integration and delivery methodologies and tools\nSolid understanding of software development process fundamentals\nExperience managing projects within the Atlassian suite of tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket).\nFamiliarity with component-based web frameworks & libraries (React, Vue, Angular)\nKnowledge of a version control system (e.g., Git).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD processes and tools (Gitlab)\nFamiliarity with SQL and NoSQL databases\nExperience with USSTRATCOM Nuclear Planning process\nDABAOPP1\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
