This is an exciting opportunity to use your Agile and SAFe expertise to guide high-performing teams developing critical counter UAS and missile defense solutions.\nThis position focuses on servant leadership, Agile coaching, and facilitating the delivery of high-value software increments within a SAFe framework. You will work with cross-functional teams to remove impediments, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with program objectives while fostering a collaborative environment that enables mission-critical software delivery.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nServe as a servant leader and coach for a cross-functional Agile team, enabling effective delivery within the SAFe framework.\nFacilitate Daily Standups, Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Reviews, Retrospectives, and supporting PI Planning.\nRemove impediments, escalate risks, and proactively address blockers to maintain team flow.\nSupport the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy, prioritized backlog and ensuring stories are ready for implementation.\nDrive team maturity by promoting Agile mindset, Lean thinking, and continuous improvement practices.\nMonitor team performance metrics (velocity, predictability, flow) and guide the team to improve delivery outcomes.\nCollaborate with the Release Train Engineer (RTE), System Architect, Product Manager, and other stakeholders across the Agile Release Train (ART).\nEnsure alignment with SAFe quality practices and compliance processes.\nFoster a collaborative and open team environment.\nSupport dependency identification, risk mitigation, and cross-team coordination.\nEncourage the team to inspect, adapt, and deliver consistent value.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience or 6+ with Master’s\n2+ years serving as an Agile SAFe Scrum Master or Agile facilitator within a large-scale environment.\nExperience facilitating Agile processes and coaching teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nStrong interpersonal and team management skills.\nAbility to identify and remove impediments while promoting team ownership.\nExcellent communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nCurrently living in Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate.\nCurrently holds an active Secret clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.\nStrong understanding of Agile Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and process.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
