The program delivers a comprehensive integrated mission control software tool combining custom code and integrated COTS products for a Department of Homeland Security customer.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nTest Planning and Strategy: Develop test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.\nContinuous Monitoring: Monitor CI/CD pipelines, test results, and system logs to identify issues, regressions, and performance bottlenecks early in the development process.\nRegression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce unintended side effects or break existing functionality.\nTest Execution and Reporting: Execute manual tests, create/execute automated tests, record test results, and generate test reports to communicate findings to stakeholders and drive decision-making.\nDefect Management: Identify, report, and prioritize software defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation of fixes.\nQuality Assurance Processes: Contribute to the improvement of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on increasing efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage.\nDocumentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document and configuration manage test cases, procedures, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team through documentation, training sessions, and presentations.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nUp to 2 years of experience in Software Testing.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.\nMust be able to obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.\nMust be a US Citizen.\nPreferred Qualification:\nExperience using Atlassian collaboration tools, such as JIRA, Confluence\nBasic shell scripting knowledge\n►Please be advised that during the interview, you will be required to keep your camera on, and your interviewer will be taking your picture for identification purposes if an offer letter is extended to you.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
