This role is ideal for an early career professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to build hands on experience managing both classified and unclassified systems.\nYou will play a key role in supporting the maintenance, optimization, and security of enterprise systems that directly contribute to operational readiness.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, operate, and maintain a range of physical and virtual systems.\nDesign, plan, and execute system backups and disaster recovery processes.\nPerform daily operations and maintenance of VMware technologies including ESXi, Horizon, vCenter, and vSphere.\nManage and maintain enterprise storage solutions such as Nutanix and Dell platforms.\nSupport virtual desktop infrastructure including virtual desktops and connection brokers.\nBuild and deploy virtual desktop images using established USMC standard ISOs.\nApply system patches, updates, and custom fixes across supported environments.\nMonitor, analyze, and optimize system performance across hardware, software, and network services.\nMaintain cybe.rsecurity compliance and accreditation for all supported systems\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nDoD IAT Level I certification or higher, or Security+ / Network+ certification.\nActive Secret clearance.\nExperience supporting zero client technology.\nHands on experience with VMware vSphere, hypervisor management, and VDI environments.\nExperience or familiarity with Nutanix AOS.\nExperience building and deploying ESXi servers, including cluster creation and expansion.\nExperience creating VMware images for Windows Server and Windows 10/11.\nPractical experience with Microsoft Server virtualization deployment and maintenance.\nExperience implementing VMware Horizon View.\nProficiency with Windows 10 and 11.\nExperience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management.\nValid U.S. passport with ability to travel internationally on short notice.\nAbility to work in austere and drug free environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\n4+ years of systems training experience.\nVMware Certified Associate or Professional certification.\nNutanix Certified Associate or Professional certification.\nAbility to respond to crisis situations and support surge operations, including extended work hours.\nAMSOPP1\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
