SPLUNK experience is more important than McAfee.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nLooking for a Systems Administrator with AWS cloud experience in a Windows environment to perform O&M/A&A/patching duties as well as assist with managing/upgrading their SQL Servers.\nCandidate must be proficient in the MS Product Suite to help move their COTS products into their cloud environment. \nExpectation requires support specializing in system engineering to perform operational and system administrative tasks, identify and remediate system risks, and implement proactive solutions that address evolving technological infrastructure needs.\nThe SE will work closely with the customer for work prioritization.\nThe SE will execute systems engineering tasks as necessary to support the main information technology enterprise.\nThe SE will provide technical support and assist in the resolution of escalated technical issues.\nThe SE will plan and manage hardware (HW) and software (SW) modifications and upgrades.\nThe SE will serve as lead for select IT contractors.\nThe SE will support the activities and future growth of the customer's virtual environment through vendor discussions, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), system patching and upgrades, Assessment & Accreditation (A&A) efforts, backup solutions, and Disaster Recovery (DR) implementation in furtherance of an adoption of a cloud environment.\nThe SE will work occasional nights, weekends, and Holidays as necessary.\nBasic Qualifications:\nMust have an active TS/SCI with Poly.\nMust have a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience OR a Master's and at least 10 years of experience OR 16+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.\n* The below skills are required by the client. Due to the mission's pace, some of the required skills must be currently in use or have been used within the last six months.\nExperience serving as a team lead.\nExperience supporting a stand-alone environment.\nExperience planning and leading software modifications and upgrades.\nExperience managing an on-premises virtual infrastructure.\nExperience planning, implementing, and maintaining a Disaster Recovery Site.\nExperience transitioning an on-premises virtual solution to a virtual private cloud (VPC).\nExperience managing MS Product Suite, MS Server 2012/2019 and MS SQL\nExperience administering a vulnerability assessment tool, for example Rapid7 and Nessus.\nExperience managing virtual appliance suites, for example Nutanix and Rubrik.\nExperience administering SPLUNK.\nExperience administering McAfee.\nExperience interacting with end users to provide guidance and hands-on support to help resolve problems, concerns, and errors and to explain or demonstrate procedures and techniques.\nExperience maintaining system accreditation.\nExperience conducting security audits of virtual environments in collaboration with external groups.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting TeamMate+™, TeamMateAM™, and TeamMate Analytics ™.\nExperience supporting Case Management Tracking System (CMTS).\nExperience supporting Idea™.\nExperience making virtual machine configuration changes necessary to resolve trouble tickets or to comply with customer's requirements and IT best practices\nExperience administering user access by adding and deleting user accounts, maintaining user permissions and access privileges.\nExperience making application software and operating system configuration changes necessary to resolve trouble tickets or to comply with Sponsor requirements and IT best practices.\nExperience implementing, with oversight, the customer's requirements.\nExperience evaluating and mitigating software security vulnerabilities.\nExperience with the customers unique IT infrastructure and ongoing projects.\nExperience with the customer's audit and analysis software packages.\nExperience communicating orally and in writing with stakeholders.\nExperience conducting data transfer operations.\nExperience executing O&M tasks as necessary to support the Sponsor’s software and hardware infrastructure.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
