The position requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. The candidate must be able to work in a high-energy environment and adapt to shifting priorities.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nMust possess the ability to coordinate multiple engineering projects simultaneously\nPerform technical assessment of customer defined requirements\nDesign and develop technical modifications or reconfigurations interfacing with customers and members of the technical team\nPerform switch port analysis availability and enable port(s) following all port security protocols\nPerform optimization and maintenance of workstations and virtual environments\nProvide updates to engineering designs and technical documentation\nSupport site expansions working collaboratively with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to adding new desktop equipment or perform recaps/upgrades to existing equipment\nReview technical design documentation in order to integrate new equipment for site expansions\nConduct a technical site survey in order to assess site expansion needs and implement the optimal technical solution\nReview the current site network infrastructure baseline in order to proactively verify feasibility of expansion requirements\nEnsure adherence to project procedures and security guidelines when providing remote and site support services to external partners\nDevelop and implement system repeatable installation and test procedures\nSecondary Responsibilities:\nAddress and resolve technical problems of moderate complexity relating to the installation of hardware, peripheral devices, and network connectivity\nResponsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of desktop and peripheral hardware devices consisting of workstations, monitors, VoIP phones, printers, and desktop video teleconferencing equipment both on-site and off-site customer locations\nPerform software installations and troubleshoot issues \nPerform de-installation of equipment / decommission site services\nHands-on experience with physical network cable installation and management\nTravel: May require occasional travel throughout the WMA or continental U.S.\nBasic Qualifications:\nRequires BS degree and must have at least 4 years of prior relevant experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree\n Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance w/Poly to be considered\nStrong interpersonal and customer service skills\nEffectively complete engineering projects with nominal direction\nDay-to-day fluency using Microsoft Active Directory to manage policies and user objects\nExperience troubleshooting, administering, and using Microsoft Windows Enterprise 10 (imaging and basic configurations)\n* As a condition of employment, this position requires the candidate pass both a customer required medical and psychological screening\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPossess and maintain one of the following certifications: MTA-IT, A +, Network +, or Security +.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
