Working within a highly secure environment, you will contribute to the design, integration, verification and delivery of complex systems, collaborating with Defence stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve challenging technical problems.\nIn this role, you will:\nSupport systems engineering activities across the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification and validation.\nCollaborate with Defence customers, project teams and industry partners to develop and deliver capability solutions that meet operational and technical requirements.\nContribute to engineering reviews, technical documentation, risk management activities and systems assurance processes within a secure Defence environment.\nAssist in the development of engineering artefacts and technical recommendations that support successful program delivery and capability outcomes.\nAbout You\nYou are an experienced Systems Engineer who enjoys working in complex, highly regulated environments and contributing to capability outcomes that make a meaningful impact. You bring a collaborative approach, sound technical knowledge and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders to deliver quality engineering outcomes.\nEssential:\nExperience in Systems Engineering within Defence, aerospace, intelligence, national security or similarly complex environments.\nExperience supporting systems engineering activities across the system lifecycle, including requirements management, system design, integration, verification and validation.\nAbility to engage effectively with Defence customers, project stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams.\nExperience developing and maintaining engineering documentation, technical artefacts and compliance evidence.\nKnowledge of systems engineering methodologies, frameworks and industry standards.\nTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.\nAdvantageous:\nExperience supporting Defence acquisition, integration or sustainment programs.\nFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and associated toolsets.\nExperience working within secure ICT, communications, cyber security or Defence capability environments.\nUnderstanding of Defence security, accreditation and engineering governance requirements.\nUnderstanding of integrating geospatial capabilities into broader enterprise systems.\nThis role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen who holds a TSPV security clearance; accompanied by the ability to be successful for a DISA/OSA.\nIf this role interests you, we encourage you to apply.
