Technical Writer
Leidos is currently seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our mission customer in the Linthicum MD area.
The Technical Writer will join a team whose mission is to provide cyber security support to the Nuclear Command and Control System (NCCS) organization within the Cyber Security Directorate (CSD).
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and performance status.
Write meeting minutes from weekly technical meetings.
Update the weekly, monthly, and yearly spend plan tracker.
Update status briefings to include Gantt chart and schedule for bi-weekly brief to leadership.
Attend weekly meetings with team and provide minutes.
Update spreadsheet and Power Point briefs Project requirements and master plan and schedule.
Capture and update requirements matrix.
Update the SOW and reference documents for follow-on contract
Complete Data transfers from unclassified network to classified networks
Provide feedback on the contracting schedule for the program to remain in sync to project lead.
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Education/Experience
8 years’ of experience as a technical writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred. Four (4) years of additional technical writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Masters’ Degree can reduce years of experience by 2 years.
Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint experienced desired.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
