In this role you will support a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force. This position will work closely with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners.\nThe Technical Writer must be local, willing and able to work onsite in Alexandria, VA even though the position offers a hybrid setting.\nNo relocation is available for the position.\nPrimary responsibilities:\nPlan, coordinate, revise, and edit written material including technical and non-technical documents\nWork with the engineering team to ensure that CDRLs/deliverables meet SOW and Government requirements\nRequired Qualifications:\n12+ years’ experience as a technical writer. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.\nActive and current TS/SCI clearance.\nFluency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.\nAbility to pay attention to details.\nSkilled writer with the ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely, and accurately.\nExperience conducting research to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation.\nKnowledgeable of developing DoD CDRLs following Government DIDs.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nMust be able to attain SAP clearance.\nAdditional Qualifications/Certifications\nExperience with Jira and Confluence.\nExperience with Adobe products.\nAbility to adapt to different writing styles and formats.\nExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.\nAbility to multi-task and be a self-starter.\nSAP experience preferred.\nDABAOPP1\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
