MSS also plays a key role in advancing technology modernisation within Government, delivering scalable and adaptable solutions for complex enterprise challenges.\nThe Opportunity\nIn this role, you will verify that software and systems meet defined requirements while contributing to broader quality assurance activities. You will develop test artefacts, execute structured testing and work with delivery teams to resolve defects before solutions reach operational users.\nReview requirements and designs to define test conditions, test cases, expected results and traceability.\nExecute functional, system, integration and regression testing across applications, interfaces and environments.\nRecord, investigate and retest defects, working with engineers to clarify behaviour and confirm resolution.\nMaintain test evidence, quality records and reporting while contributing to automation and process improvement.\nAbout You\nYou bring attention to detail, analytical thinking and a practical understanding of how systems behave across connected components. You can document evidence clearly and work constructively with engineers and stakeholders when outcomes differ from expectations.\nEssential\nExperience testing software, systems, integrations or technical products.\nAbility to derive test cases from requirements, designs and acceptance criteria.\nExperience executing tests, documenting results and managing defects through resolution.\nKnowledge of traceability, regression testing and quality assurance processes.\nAbility to investigate unexpected outcomes and communicate findings clearly.\nExperience using test management, defect tracking or requirements management tools.\nAdvantageous\nExperience with automated testing, API testing or performance testing.\nKnowledge of CI/CD and quality engineering practices.\nExposure to integrated, regulated or mission-critical systems.\nThis role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen. Security clearance requirements vary depending on the role and project and may include NV1, NV2 or TSPV clearances.
