The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and ability to pass US Government medical and psychological exams.\nThe Shift Tier 2 Hardware System Administrator receives and responds to service requests and problems reported by customers and escalated from Tier 1. The Tier 2 Hardware System Administrator will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders and the Government customer to ensure mission continuity and support to 24x7 operations.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nCommunicate with customers and technical component’s to fully understand the incident, service request or problem.\nResearch problems by accessing internal and external knowledge databases.\nPerform hardware troubleshooting, repair, replacement and incident resolution.\nEnsure performance meets established Performance Requirement Standards.\nFacilitate technical communications between operations and development staff.\nDistribute defect reports and system data collected during anomaly investigations.\nPlan and coordinate maintenance activities, perform upgrades and support the transition and acceptance of new and modified systems.\nAnalyze customer problems and implement appropriate corrective action to initiate a repair, and return to service in the field.\nAssist with property and asset management.\nMonitor, review, update and disposition ServiceNow/HelpNow system tickets assigned to program per required Performance Requirements Standards and level of information details. \nBasic Qualifications:\nTo be considered for this position, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:\nTS/SCI with Polygraph is required.\nBA degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience or years of experience in lieu of degree.\nSecurity+.\nProven computer hardware and system troubleshooting skills.\nSystem administration skills.\nAbility to recognize and analyze problems, errors, provide innovative solutions to complex problems, and respond appropriately.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.\nAbility to carry/lift 30 pounds of equipment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of ServiceNow/HelpNow.\nExperience with shift work supporting 24x7 mission operations.\nExperience in working with, collaborating with system users and customers.\nAbility to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing situations.\nAbility to demonstrate resourcefulness.\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
