One day you'll be installing state-of-the-art robotic milking systems, and the next you'll be helping customers maximize the performance of technology that's reshaping the future of farming.\n As a key member of our technical team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our customers' robotic systems operate at peak performance by:\nInstalling, commissioning, servicing, and repairing Lely robotic milking systems and related technologies\nCarrying out preventative maintenance and performance optimization activities (full training provided)\nDiagnosing and troubleshooting low-voltage electrical and mechanical faults\nResponding to technical issues and delivering practical solutions in real-time\nParticipating in a 24/7 on-call roster to support our customers when they need us most\nBuilding trusted relationships with farmers and providing exceptional customer service\nManaging spare parts inventory and maintaining your vehicle service\nContributing to the successful rollout of new technologies across New Zealand farms\n We're seeking someone who combines technical expertise with a passion for customer service and innovation.\nYou will ideally have:\nExperience within the dairy industry and a good understanding of New Zealand farming systems\nAn electrical, mechanical, engineering, or technical trade background\nEST registration and/or trade qualifications (highly regarded)\nMilking Machine Tester/Technician qualifications (preferred)\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills\nConfidence working with computers, software, and modern technology platforms\nThe ability to work independently while also being a valuable team player\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nFlexibility to travel and work additional hours when required\n At Lely, you'll do more than just fix equipment.
