We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.\nIn this role you’ll\nOwn and develop expertise on our car rating plans and rate indications\n\nContribute to predictive modeling projects in close partnership with the Data Science team\n\nCraft rate filing support for new machine learning models\n\nIdentify pricing and underwriting opportunities based on ongoing monitoring of results\n\nBuild a knowledge base of competitor rating strategies and the broader competitive landscape\n\nPartner cross-functionally with Underwriting, Product, Claims, and BI to drive alignment and action\n\nAdvance your actuarial credentials through recognized qualifications and industry research, bringing those learnings directly into your work\n\nWhat you’ll need\n5+ years of P&C actuarial experience, preferably in personal lines pricing\n\nAttained ACAS or greater\n\nBachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field\n\nWorking knowledge of data science programming languages like R or Python, and proficiency in SQL\n\nFamiliarity with predictive modeling concepts, including GLMs, decision trees, gradient boosting machines, random forests, and clustering\n\nA genuine sensitivity to model transparency and ethics\n\nExcitement about learning and growing alongside AI - this isn't optional, it's how we work\n\nAbility to work remotely\n\nPlease note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas.\nUnfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.\nLemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 - $157,500 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
