Working in collaboration, you’ll help develop and implement new pricing capabilities that blend actuarial approaches with predictive modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.\nIn this role you’ll\nSupport the pricing processes for the UK market, including price making, modeling, implementation, and pricing strategy\n\nBalance rating accuracy and profitability with price comparison website competitiveness\n\nContribute to building the pricing machine enables speed to market and competitive advantages\n\nSupport development of pricing for new products and add-ons\n\nIdentify optimal areas for pricing and underwriting action based on ongoing monitoring of the data\n\nFurther your actuarial education through industry research and stay on top of changing regulatory requirements\n\nWhat you’ll need\nAt least 3- 5 years of non-life non-pet actuarial experience\n\nCommitment in obtaining FIA (Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries) or FFA (Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries)\n\nAbility to work in an office environment (London)\n\nMaster’s degree in mathematics / econometrics / actuarial science / related field preferred\n\nPersonal lines experience required\n\nPrice comparison website (PCW) and/ or commercial pricing experience is an advantage\n\nGeneral knowledge of data science programming languages such as Python (preferred) or R, and in database query tools such as SQL.
