This position will also support team members with accounting analysis and reporting to leadership and the Corporate Accounting teams.\nYour Responsibilities on the Team\nAnalyze incoming invoices to determine if the charges are in line with the services provided per the PO, then determine and apply the correct assignment of cost and general ledger account codes.\n\nProvide financial insights and documentation to Lennar stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.\n\nCollaborate with leadership teams to approve invoices pending in queue, proactively resolving any discrepancies or roadblocks.\n\nIdentify anomalies and inconsistencies on invoices and conduct investigations on charges that do not align with the purchase request documents.\n\nSupport our Vendor Management and Treasury teams to ensure vendors are set up with proper credentials.\n\nMaintain and handle vendor’s and associate’s confidential information with total discretion.\n\nOversee the monthly chargeback allocation process to divisions for telecom and other cost distributions.\n\nConduct monthly reconciliations of capital assets and depreciation schedules, identifying trends and areas for optimization.\n\nPrepare and execute monthly data loads to the financial dashboard, ensuring data integrity and usability.\n\nMaintain and update the allocation database, identifying opportunities for automation and process efficiencies.\n\nDevelop and upload journal entries for reclassifications and accruals.\n\nIdentify gaps and or redundancies in processes and initiate improvements in alignment with the team.\n\nDrive financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Manager, contributing to broader business objectives.\n\nYour Toolbox\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field preferred.\n\nA minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience or education is required.\n\nMust have financial data analytical skills and experience in preparing high level reports from raw data.\n\nIntermediate Excel Skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.\n\nPC Skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP Systems.\n\nGeneral knowledge of APAR functions.\n\nAbility to multitask, excellent communication, and critical thinking skills.\n\nStrong project management skills are essential as well as a passion for solving business problems using technological solutions.\n\nDemonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines.\n\nMust be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of management.\n\nMust be a collaborator and be able to work independently to make decisions when needed.\n\nMust be innovative, creative, and detailed oriented.\n\nPhysical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:\nThis is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
