This role will focus on enhancing our CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and improving system reliability and performance. The Sr DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery processes.\nYour Responsibilities on the Team\nDesign, build, and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.\nLead initiatives to implement and manage IaC using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.\nWork closely with development teams on software products in the cloud environment.\nCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes.\nEnsure system security, scalability, and reliability through effective monitoring and alerting solutions.\nDrive automation and orchestration to enhance operational efficiency.\nEvaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve the DevOps workflow.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and systems.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.\nProvide expertise and guidance with securing cloud-native application development and delivery platforms (DevOps, CI/CD) with demonstrated strength in DevSecOps tooling.\nPromote and facilitate effective communication between Security Engineering & Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and other departments and/or business units.\nAssist in the acquisition and risk assessment, procurement, and evaluation of new vendor and product selections.\nEvaluate and recommend new and emerging services and technologies.\nDeal effectively with a wide range of vendors, and service providers.\nFacilitate productive meetings and work successfully in a team-oriented environment.\nHandle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrate considerable writing proficiency and visual design skills, oral presentation skills, problem solving and decision-making skills.\nYour Toolbox\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in DevOps.\nExpertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS and GitHub Actions.\nProficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.\nStrong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.\nSolid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS.\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nLife at Lennar\nAt Lennar, Everything’s Included in our homes, and Everyone’s Included on our team.
