This role will own the reasonable accommodations process, oversee complex HR inquiries, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience.\nA career with purpose.\nA career built on making dreams come true.\nA career built on building zero-defect homes, cost management, and adherence to schedules.\nYour Responsibilities on the Team\nHR Operations\nOwn the end-to-end reasonable accommodations process from intake through close, in line with all applicable state and local laws.\nLead the interactive process with Associates and People Managers, including assessing essential job functions, evaluating accommodation options, and ensuring all required documentation is completed in accordance with Lennar’s established process.\nServe as an HR partner to internal Human Resources functions, providing guidance and support on organizational processes, systems, and best practices (“HR for HR”).\nServe as an advanced point of contact for HR inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and HR policies, ensuring accurate and timely responses within defined Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).\nManage and process complex HR lifecycle transactions, including pre-boarding, transfers, terminations, job changes, and personal data updates, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.\nAct as a subject matter expert (SME) for HR policies, systems, and processes, providing guidance to HR Operations Specialists and People Managers.\nLead HR process enhancements by identifying inefficiencies and working with HR Operations leadership to implement best practices.\nEnsure data integrity and compliance in HR systems by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in alignment with federal, state, and local employment regulations.\nProactively analyze and resolve escalated HR inquiries, using sound judgment and collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, HRIS).\nPartner with HRMS and IT teams to troubleshoot system issues, optimize workflows, and support HR technology initiatives.\nTrain and mentor HR Operations Specialists to improve service delivery and consistency across HR support functions.\nProvide reporting and analytics on HR transactions, trends, and service metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.\nMaintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and HR-related matters.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.\n3-5 years of HR operations, HR generalist, employee relations, leave of absence, or shared services experience, including at least 2 years handling reasonable accommodation or leave cases.\nStrong working knowledge of the ADA, Title VII religious accommodation, the PWFA, and FMLA, and of how state and local laws differ across multiple states.\nDemonstrated experience leading the interactive process and handling confidential medical and religious information.\nStrong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment laws.\nExperience working with HR systems (Workday preferred).\nCase management experience (ServiceNow preferred).\nProven track record of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex inquiries.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and data accuracy.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and escalate issues when necessary.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong working relationships.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nPreferred\nHR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, or a leave and accommodation credential.\nExperience building or improving an accommodations process at a multi-state employer.\nExperience supporting a distributed workforce with both office and field roles.\nPhysical & Office/Site Presence Requirements\nThis is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
