These include application development, e-commerce, enterprise software, technical consulting, networking and data center hardware, PCs, tablets and peripherals, hosting services, mobile service providers, and telecommunications.\nThis role partners with business and technology leaders to understand requirements, evaluate solutions, and develop sourcing strategies that optimize costs, maximize value, and support the company's technology objectives. Key responsibilities include analyzing historical spend to identify savings opportunities, leading complex contract negotiations, developing strategic supplier partnerships, and overseeing supplier performance and contract management.\nThe Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, and lead cross-functional teams to define business requirements, establish sourcing strategies, and negotiate complex agreements and service-level commitments. The ideal candidate brings deep IT category expertise, strong commercial and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence strategic decisions as a trusted subject matter expert and thought leader across the IT portfolio.\nYour Responsibilities on the Team\nReviews documentation and legal drafts of contracts/agreements, ensuring contractual/agreement requirements are met, and works directly with Strategic Sourcing Managers and key stakeholders to ensure contract/agreement language and requirements are appropriate and comply with Lennar Corporation policies and procedures.\nCoordinates work with various departments and serves as a liaison between Lennar Corporation and vendors to oversee the intake, review and finalization of all IT and HR contracts that bind the corporation.\nInnovative thought leader with demonstrated good business acumen and can quickly understand complex business programs related to Information Technologies.\nLead, mentor, and coach managers and specialists.\nPromote career development and manage the performance of the team.\nReview, draft, redline, and negotiate a variety of technology-related agreements, including SOW's, POC's, order forms, amendments, etc. while maintaining coordination with internal and external stakeholders.\nSupplier relationship management, engagement, and continuous improvement of supplier performance.\nResponsible for creating and facilitating the issuance and evaluation of RFP’s, RFI’s, etc.\nAbility to prepare and/or diagnose/interpret financial and other relevant analysis related to the product being sourced.\nNegotiate and prepare contracts with appropriate terms and conditions.\nResolve conflicts or service level issues regarding supplier performance.\nExcellent understanding of IT protocols and guidelines; ensure that IT minimum standards are applied and properly documented.\nEffectively communicates program needs status with internal team members and external stakeholders, ability to build stakeholder trust and influence change.\nProficient understanding of procurement systems and functionality and procure-to-pay processes.\nEffectively deal with conflict inherent in procurement and sourcing operations between suppliers and stakeholders.\nYour Toolbox\n7+ years of IT Purchasing experience\n7+ years of IT Sourcing experience\nMust have experience working with large technology partners such as AT&T, CDW, Cisco, IBM, Insight, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, Verizon and VMWare.\nITIL experience preferred\nExcellent customer service skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.\nAbility to work in challenging and ambiguous environments.\nAbility to communicate effectively with executives, clients, and team members regularly.\nAbility to work across functional areas to drive continuous improvement.\nAdvanced experience with MS Office.\nExperience in a team-oriented environment is essential.\nConnects the dots between strategy and contracting.\nCan conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nFlexible during times of change.\nAbility to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.\nAbility to elicit cooperation from many sources, including executives, clients, and other departments.\nAbility to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal and operational skill sets.\nMust be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.\nStrong Customer service skills and focus required.\nAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.\nTenacious, driven, energetic and has a high degree of professional integrity.\nFollow directions from a supervisor.\nInteract well with co-workers, supervisors and management.\nUnderstand and follow posted work rules and procedures.\nAccept constructive criticism.\nMaintain Professional appearance and demeanor at all times\nPhysical & Office/Site Presence Requirements\nThis is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
