Note: benefits may vary depending on the position and are subject to change.\nWhat Drives Success\nThe person in this position manages and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in maintaining, servicing and installing commercial HVAC equipment and accessories. The manager is responsible for safety, labor productivity and efficiency, inventory management, customer satisfaction, employee retention and on-time arrival.\nDuties include, but are not limited to:\nReads, analyzes and interprets written or verbal reports, correspondence or proposals and blueprints\nAssists employees in diagnosing commercial HVAC equipment\nPrepares estimates and proposals\nReview financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.\nRequisitions and keeps inventory of tools, equipment and materials\nStudies production schedules and estimates labor requirements for completion of job assignment\nDirects employees engaged in dismantling, assembling and installing equipment\nInterprets and communicates company policies to employees \nInspects and monitors work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.\nEnsures proper procedures are in place for reporting and managing accidents\nInterprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to employees, and assigns duties\nEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules\nRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product\nSuggest changes in working conditions and processes to increase efficiency of branch, customer service or work crew\nAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems\nInitiates or suggests plans to motivate employees to achieve performance goals\nMaintains time and production records\nDirectly supervises four to ten employees\nCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws \nSupervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nAssociate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school\n5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience\nHVAC industry technical knowledge required\nP&L Management Experience with successful track record preferred\nAbility to travel in local market on a regular basis; occasional overnight travel required\nAbility to climb ladders\nModerate lifting up to 90lbs\nComputer skills; competent in MS Office software (Word and Excel)\nMust achieve NATE certification in first full year as Branch Manager\nEPA Certification: Type I and Type II or Universal Preferred\nPositive mental attitude, self-motivated, self-starter, Competitive, High Energy\nAbility to thrive in a fast paced environment, Professional and punctual\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation:\nThis is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $70,000 - $80,000 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual and monthly bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
