This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial field technician with rooftop unit expertise to transition into a corporate office environment while continuing to apply advanced technical and troubleshooting skills. In this position, you will support field technicians by handling incoming calls related to unit start-up, diagnostics, and technical troubleshooting. You’ll collaborate with a team of senior technicians to help resolve complex issues and provide high-level technical guidance to industry professionals in the field. This opportunity offers the chance to step away from daily travel and field service demands while maintaining a strong connection to the industry in a role that provides an outstanding work/life balance. Up to 60% travel to National Accounts.\nThis role will support National Accounts.\nUnder limited supervision, develops and delivers training courses for training customers or technical employees in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC products. \nTroubleshoots technical inquiries.\nIdentifies customer needs. \nInvestigates and resolves technical inquiries. \nDevelops, test, and maintain courses and materials used in training. \nEstablishes course content and student learning objectives. \nMay prepare course syllabi, lesson plans, and student manuals, and coordinate the development of training aids. \nReviews problem areas and identifies training needs. \nDevelops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. \nUpdates course materials continuously to ensure timeliness and relevance. \nConducts training using all methods of delivery. \nMay provide direction to entry-level technical trainers.\nSchedules travel using Concur for customer support.\nUp to 60% travel to National Accounts.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nPrefer two year college degree, HVAC degree or equivalent. \nTypically requires at least 5 years of relevant training experience in addition to at least 5 years of technical experience.\nAdvanced knowledge of assigned products and the application of diagnostic techniques and service aids. \nKnowledge and ability to apply learning theories to classroom situations. \nDeveloped presentation skills using a variety of technologies. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills required. \nAn individual must have sales ability and a track record of fostering strong customer relationships. \nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficient in leading WebEx meetings.\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $80,800 to $106,050 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
