Come, stay, and grow with us.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop refrigeration systems, components, and assemblies for HVAC&R products.\nPerform refrigeration cycle calculations, load analysis, and system performance evaluations.\nSelect and size compressors, heat exchangers, expansion devices, refrigerants, and other system components.\nCreate and modify 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools.\nConduct design validation through simulations, testing, and prototype evaluations.\nAnalyze system performance, energy efficiency, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards.\nCollaborate with global engineering teams, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality functions during product development.\nSupport product design reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards such as ASHRAE, AHRI, UL, ISO, and environmental regulations.\nParticipate in new product development, value engineering, and cost reduction projects.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Thermal Engineering, or related field.\n3+ years of experience in refrigeration system design, HVAC, or thermal product development.\nStrong understanding of:Refrigeration Cycles\nThermodynamics\nHeat Transfer\nFluid Mechanics\nPsychrometrics\n\nExperience in refrigeration component selection and system optimization.\nKnowledge of refrigerants, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and expansion devices.\nAbility to perform engineering calculations and design documentation.\nPreferred Technical Skills\nCAD Tools: Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or AutoCAD.\nSimulation Tools: Coil Designer, HTRI, ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar engineering tools.\nKnowledge of DOE, DFMEA, GD&T, and Design Validation processes.\nExperience working on HVAC, Commercial Refrigeration, Heat Pumps, Rooftop Units, Chillers, or Industrial Cooling Products.\nUnderstanding of energy efficiency standards and sustainability initiatives.\nDesired Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management.\nAbility to work in a global cross-functional environment.\nContinuous improvement mindset and customer-focused approach.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\nQualifications\nRequires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 2 years related experience.Strong oral and written communications skills. Knowledge of CAD software techniques and tools.
