They are productive, challenged, well trained, promoted, and well compensated.\nThis technician performs field activities associated with supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for commercial customers.\nDuties include: \nAssist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation.\nUses technical abilities to maintain systems.\nWorks in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.\nMust work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nFlexibility to work overtime and weekends required.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent\nHVAC Trade school graduate strongly preferred achieving 3.5 GPA and excellent attendance.\n1+ years in mechanical support role, some hands-on HVAC experience preferred\nEPA Certification- Type I & Type II or Universal Preferred\nNATE certification a plus\nValid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record\nAbility to climb ladders.\nModerate lifting (up to 90 pounds)\nTechnical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipment.\nExcellent Customer Service Skills\nGood Electrical and Mechanical Diagnostic Skills\nAbility to complete repairs and required paperwork.\nAbility to work independently and self-schedule.\nSelf-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints.\nDriven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision.\nAvailability for weekend and night work occasionally. \nMust be willing to relocate to another part of country once training is completed.\nLocal travel may be required. \nPhysical Requirements:\nTechnicians install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial, rooftop HVAC units. This work is often done independently. As such, Technicians must be able to safely:\nGet themselves and necessary tools/equipment onto the rooftop - typically via fixed/extension ladder.\nWork at heights\nLoad and unload tools/equipment from work van\nLifting occasionally up to 75lbs. \nLifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs.\nPush/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.\nClimb ladder up to roof height. \nExtend reach overhead in a repetitive motion. \nManual tandem lifting load up to 125 lbs\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation:\nThis is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $29,000 - $37,000 annually.
