Come, stay, and grow with us.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nUnder limited direction, develops and applies advanced engineering, theories, methods and research techniques in the planning and design of large, complex manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.\nPlans and directs projects or major phases of projects in areas such as machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly and material handling. \nCoordinates the efforts of engineers and technical support staff. \nAnalyzes, evaluates and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve the solution to complex, technical problems. Establishes and defines the theoretical bases and principles which should apply, the empirical test procedures to be used, and estimated time, expenses and manpower for completion. \nConducts investigations or tests of considerable complexity pertaining to the development of new manufacturing operations, major production, activities, exploration of product and/or process problems, definition, and selection of new concepts and approaches in manufacturing operations. \nInvestigates literature patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. \nReviews projects, progress and evaluate results. \nRecommends corrections to ensure project objectives. \nSpecifies equipment, materials and supplies required for completion and implementation of technical projects. \nEvaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. \nCapable of analyzing complex process issues and implement best in class solutions.\nEvaluate and improve manufacturing methods for maximum efficiency.\nQualifications\nRequires a bachelor's degree in Engineering. A master's degree is preferred. Requires at least 8 years related experience. Conversational English proficiency.Comprehension of practical applications of engineering science and technology. Expert use of analytical and CAD software. Requires expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Highly specialized expertise in mechanical and manufacturing theory and design. Effective in directing projects and providing work leadership.
