Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their five market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.\nWhat Drives Success\nLocation: Tifton-100% Onsite\nThis Mechanical Engineer II designs, fabricates, modifies and evaluates complex mechanical and electro-mechanical\ncomponents, sub-systems and systems. The person in this position may also coordinate the efforts of drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as needed.\nDuties include, but are not limited to:\nWrite test procedures, compile and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specifications.\nRecommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.\nCoordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototypes or experimental runs for products or processes.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequires a bachelor's degree in engineering. \nAt least 1 year related experience.\nKnowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.\n Experience with analytical and CAD software.\n Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $79,000 - $103,500 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
