Successful individuals provide technical leadership across projects, mentor engineering teams, and influence strategic engineering decisions throughout the organization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the design, development, analysis, and validation of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems, products, and components.\nPlan, organize, and technically direct major engineering projects and critical phases of strategic development programs.\nApply advanced engineering methods, theories, and research techniques to solve complex technical challenges.\nConduct investigations, testing, and analyses related to new designs, materials, and product improvements.\nDevelop innovative engineering solutions that support performance, quality, cost, reliability, and customer requirements.\nReview technical data, test results, and engineering analyses to ensure sound technical decisions and recommendations.\nResearch industry trends, technical literature, patents, standards, and emerging technologies to support innovation and product advancement.\nEvaluate engineering designs and makes recommendations for modifications to improve functionality, manufacturability, reliability, and performance.\nCoordinate and provide technical leadership to engineers, designers, engineering technicians, and other technical personnel.\nSupport cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Operations to achieve project objectives.\nEvaluate supplier and vendor capabilities to ensure technical requirements, quality expectations, and business needs are met.\nProvide technical consultation and subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders and external organizations.\nSupport root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives related to products and processes.\nEnsure engineering work complies with customer requirements, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.\nMentor and develop less experienced engineers and technical team members.\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nAdvanced technical expertise in mechanical engineering and product development.\nStrong leadership and technical mentoring capabilities.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to lead large, complex engineering projects from concept through implementation.\nStrong innovation and research-oriented mindset.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines and organizational levels.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.\nStrategic thinking combined with practical engineering judgment.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 10 years of engineering experience in combustion heating, product development, design engineering, or a related technical field.\nAdvanced knowledge of engineering science, mechanical systems, and product development methodologies.\nExpert proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools.\nExpert knowledge of engineering design principles, technical drawings, blueprints, models, and engineering documentation.\nExperience leading major engineering projects and complex technical initiatives.\nDemonstrated ability to apply advanced engineering theories and research methods to solve technical challenges.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving abilities.\nExperience evaluating new materials, technologies, manufacturing processes, and design alternatives.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.\nAbility to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and engineering consultation across the organization.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience with HVAC OEM\nExperience leading cross-functional product development programs from concept through production launch.\nExpertise in engineering simulation, finite element analysis, computational modeling, or advanced testing methodologies.\nExperience supporting manufacturing operations, supplier development, and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.\nKnowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, patents, and intellectual property considerations.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license or other advanced engineering certifications.\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $118,000-$155,400 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
