Come, stay, and grow with us.\nWhat Drives Success\nUnder general supervision, sets-up and operate equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nObtain and maintain powered industrial truck (PIT) license to operate both ride on and stand on lift trucks\nMust operate a lift truck in a safe and professional manner.\nMaintain a TEAM-like disposition at all times and be willing to work efficiently with coworkers or independently as required.\nMust be able to establish priorities and transition from one task to another smoothly and efficiently.\nLoad and unload trailers and flatbed trucks by hand and with a forklift as needed.\nPrepare paperwork such as bills of lading, put away sheets, inbound/outbound truck forms, and no pack slip forms.\nPerform inbound shipment verification:\nVerify correct part numbers and quantities\nCheck for damaged product\nPut inventory away neatly and in designated locations.\nWhen required, demonstrate proper warehousing techniques to transport material received from receiving dock to the appropriate warehouse locations, maintaining FIFO cadence.\nSecure trailers as necessary, ensuring all safety devices are in place and functional.\nReview production order kitting dispatch, pull parts per kitting demands, and restock kitting/kanban areas as needed.\nBreaks down material as needed for applicable departments.\nMaintain acceptable level of scrap performance.\nProperly disposes of corrugate at all times.\nWork inside and outside as required during all seasons.\nMaintain tidiness by performing housekeeping functions that include sweeping, dusting and wiping down receiving equipment.\nFlexibility to work flexible hours with little or no advanced notice.\nMust be willing and able to train others. \nOther duties as assigned by the department.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nPOSITION SUMMARY: This position will perform customary Maintenance functions in support of the Materials, assembly, and Maintenance Department.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nMinimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent required.\nPrevious experience as a material handler or forklift driver preferred. (Previous experience will be verified with a supervised driving test.)\nMust possess excellent oral and written communication skills.\nMust be able to efficiently use or learn to efficiently use current computer systems such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SAP.\nBasic mathematical skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing large numbers without a calculator.\nMust pass a computer based USDOT HAZMAT for signers or non-signers training when administered.\nNo active written or final discipline on file.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be able to bend, stoop, twist and reach in all directions frequently and without difficulty.\nMust be able to lift 40 pound packages to storage racks without assistance.\nMust be able to push and pull heavy loads using a pallet jack.\nMust be able to work and walk at a brisk pace for extended periods of time.\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.00 /hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
