As an Asset Protection & Safety Technician, you will play an important role in creating a safe, secure, and compliant workplace across our manufacturing or distribution operations. Through proactive risk identification, safety observations, audits, and operational support, you will help strengthen the standards that keep our teams and facilities performing at their best. In this role, you will partner with site leadership, Corporate EHSS, and operations teams to turn safety and asset protection priorities into meaningful action. You will monitor facility conditions, reinforce company policies and regulatory requirements, and support investigations and reporting. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $61k - $80k annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.\nEmployees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafety & Regulatory Compliance\nSupport implementation of safety programs aligned with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements\nConduct daily safety observations, audits, and facility walkthroughs to identify hazards\nAssist in maintaining safety records, documentation, and compliance reporting\nSupport regulatory inspections and ensure readiness through proper documentation and organization\nMonitor first aid supplies and emergency response readiness\nAsset Protection & Security\nSupport facility security operations, including monitoring access control systems and restricted areas\nIdentify, document, and report security incidents such as theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access\nSupport implementation of asset protection procedures to reduce loss and improve controls\nIncident Reporting & Risk Management\nAssist in investigating safety incidents, near misses, and security events\nSupport root cause analysis efforts and documentation of findings\nIdentify potential risks and communicate concerns to site leadership\nAudits & Operational Support\nConduct routine safety, compliance, and facility audits\nDocument findings and support development of corrective action plans\nEnsure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies\nSupport continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps\nTraining & Awareness\nSupport delivery of safety and asset protection training programs\nReinforce safety expectations and procedures with associates and contractors\nAssist in onboarding and training activities related to safety and compliance\nPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and belonging\nPartnership & Communication\nPartner with Operations, EHSS, and site leadership to support business objectives\nCommunicate risks, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively\nBuild strong working relationships across teams and functions\nSupport execution of site initiatives and improvement efforts\nWhat We Are Looking For\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\n5+ years of experience in safety, asset protection, security, or operations support\nExperience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments preferred\nExperience supporting audits, compliance activities, or investigations is a plus\nFunctional Skills\nBasic knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices\nUnderstanding of asset protection, loss prevention, and facility security principles\nAbility to identify hazards, assess risk, and support mitigation efforts\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nLeadership / Influence\nAbility to communicate effectively and influence safe behaviors at the associate level\nDemonstrates accountability and ownership within assigned responsibilities\nAbility to work collaboratively across teams and support site leadership\nTools / Systems\nFamiliarity with safety reporting systems, audit tools, and incident tracking systems\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nAbility to learn and utilize new systems and digital tools\nPreferred Qualifications\nOSHA certifications or safety-related training\nExperience with physical security systems (access control, CCTV)\nExposure to continuous improvement or Lean principles\nWhat Drives Success\nStrong attention to detail and proactive risk identification\nWillingness to learn and grow within safety and asset protection\nCommitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment\nAbility to follow processes while identifying opportunities for improvement\nPositive attitude and strong teamwork mindset\nWhat We Offer\nBenefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.\nDepending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.\nOur Culture: At Lennox, our Core Values of Integrity, Respect & Excellence are ingrained in the fabric of the organization.
