Come, stay, and grow with us.\nWhat Drives Success\nThe Sr. HR Generalist - HVAC Parts Distribution Center is a highly visible, onsite HR partner providing hands-on support to hourly employees and frontline leaders of the facility. This role serves as a trusted point of contact for employee relations, onboarding, engagement and recognition, HR administration, policy guidance, and compliance.\nThe HR Generalist helps create a positive employee experience while ensuring consistent and effective HR support in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, building strong relationships, and making a direct impact on employees and operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOnboarding & New Hire ExperienceDeliver a high-touch onboarding experience from realistic job previews through phased training, buddy systems, orientation, and early follow-up.\nLead new employee orientation covering expectations, policies, benefits resources, safety practices, culture, and site resources.\nConduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day new hire check-ins to identify concerns early, reinforce engagement, and support retention.\nCoach supervisors to provide consistent milestone check-ins, training follow-up, and timely issue resolution for new hires.\n\nHR Operations & Employee RelationsMaintain regular floor presence to build trust, stay connected to employee needs, and support leaders in real time.\nAdvise employees and frontline leaders on policies, attendance, performance, workplace expectations, and employee concerns.\nSupport employee relations matters, documentation, investigations, and follow-up actions in partnership with HR leadership.\nPartner with HR Centers of Excellence to resolve payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave questions.\n\nSafety & ComplianceSupport daily safety practices, incident follow-up, and site safety culture in partnership with Operations and the regional safety leader.\nMaintain accurate HR records, documentation, communications, and reports with confidentiality and sound judgment.\n\nEmployee Recognition & CommunityManage the hourly employee recognition program to reinforce appreciation, performance, and site culture.\nCoordinate community engagement opportunities, including volunteer events, local partnerships, and employee involvement activities.\n\nWorkforce Planning & Frontline Leadership SupportPartner with site leaders to monitor staffing needs, turnover trends, schedule impacts, and retention opportunities.\nSupport frontline leadership training in onboarding, coaching, communication, documentation, engagement, and policy application.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nExperience and Qualifications:\nAssociate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.\n5+ years of HR Generalist experience supporting hourly employees in a distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or similar operational environment.\nExperience supporting onboarding, orientation, employee relations, investigations, performance documentation, and frontline leader coaching.\nAbility to build trust through regular floor presence, responsiveness, practical problem solving, and strong partnership with employees and site leaders.\nWorking knowledge of safety practices, employee engagement, recognition, retention, and community involvement initiatives.\nProficiency with HR systems and reporting tools; Kronos and SAP experience preferred.\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $80k - $105k annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
