The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across procurement, manufacturing, and planning functions.\nBuying & Procurement\nSource, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production requirements and customer demand.\n\nCreate, manage, and monitor purchase orders based on production schedules, forecasts, and inventory needs.\n\nMaintain supplier relationships, monitor performance related to cost, quality, and delivery, and address supply disruptions.\n\nEnsure accuracy of supplier information, pricing, lead times, and material master data.\n\nPartner with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.\n\nProduction Planning\nDevelop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.\n\nRelease and manage work orders to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.\n\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to address scheduling conflicts and material constraints.\n\nMonitor production performance, identify potential delays, and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency.\n\nSupport new product introductions and engineering changes by ensuring material and production readiness.\n\nInventory Management\nEstablish and maintain appropriate safety stock levels, reorder points, and inventory parameters.\n\nMonitor inventory levels to balance production needs, customer service requirements, and inventory carrying costs.\n\nIdentify and address excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.\n\nSupport cycle counts, physical inventories, and initiatives to improve inventory accuracy.\n\nSupply Chain Analysis & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze purchasing, inventory, demand, and production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.\n\nDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators, including inventory turns, forecast accuracy, supplier performance, and service levels.\n\nProvide data-driven recommendations to improve planning accuracy, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain reliability.\n\nSupport process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across purchasing, production planning, and inventory management.\n\nMaintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems and support compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.\n\nDocument purchasing and planning procedures to promote consistency and operational efficiency.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.\n\n3-6 years of experience in purchasing, production planning, supply chain analysis, or a related function.\n\nExperience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.\n\nExperience managing complex bills of materials (BOMs) or supporting multi-site supply chain operations is a plus.\n\nTechnical Skills & Knowledge\nStrong understanding of purchasing, inventory management, production planning, and material requirements planning (MRP).\n\nExperience working with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and pivot tables.\n\nAbility to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.\n\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and balance immediate operational needs with longer-term planning objectives.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.\n\nAbility to work independently while maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\n\nProactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on improving efficiency, controlling costs, and supporting customer requirements.\n\nAbility to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including occasional time on the production or warehouse floor.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $86,000-$108,000/ annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
