Qualifications\n10+ years of experience in Linux Administration\n5+ years of experience Open Stack\n5+ years storage administration experience \nPreferred\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineer etc.\nCloud Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy\nDrive the architecture, build out and migration of a hybrid cloud infrastructure using a combination of on-premises OpenStack, VMWare, Oracle hypervisor virtualization farms and public cloud.\nArchitect and provide infrastructure solutions and road maps based on business requirements.\nDrive towards more vitalization and cloud elasticity.\nEvaluate alternate open-source technologies for infrastructure solutions that both reduce operational cost and provide flexibility across various cloud environments.\nPartner with application functional leads to anticipate changing business requirements for IT infrastructure services in a fast-paced Lenovo product business environment.\nAutomation, AI & Self-Service\nImplement the use of orchestration and cloud infrastructure life cycle management tool to effectively manage a hybrid cloud environment which will enable self-service functionality that will improve Dev OP team development cycle times and provide the business advantage of infrastructure elasticity to Lenovo.\nImplement AI, automation and self-service capabilities to lower operational cost and improve customer resolution cycle time.\nImprove infrastructure operational efficiency using automation.\nInfrastructure Transformation & Optimization\nDrive transformation of application hosting to continuously reduce infrastructure cost, increase reliability, elasticity, and compute density.\nMigrate and consolidate infrastructure across data centers.\nProvide infrastructure support that enables business units to utilize the latest IT infrastructure technologies to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.\nOperations, Monitoring & Incident Management\nImprove monitoring to respond to service interruptions quicker to minimize business impact.\nRespond to infrastructure outages and perform function of recovery administrator to orchestrate support team recovery tasks.\nConduct regular operational reviews and improvement plans.\nPerform ITIL process for incident management, change management and problem management.\nSecurity & Compliance\nRemediate infrastructure security vulnerabilities.\nLeadership, Mentoring & Quality\nMentor technical resources, run solution reviews, and oversee implementation quality by performing design and code reviews, following secure coding practices, and utilizing CI/CD and test automation tools and processes.\nCommunication & Continuous Learning\nRegularly present product solutions and proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nBring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal &
