AI Application Developer

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team in Bucharest and help develop and enhance a platform that processes and analyzes diagnostic data from enterprise servers. The role focuses on Python-based parsers and backend tooling that enable technical support teams to identify hardware issues and determine appropriate corrective actions. You will also help prepare support capabilities for new server technologies, including AI and GPU-enabled hardware.

This is a hybrid position in Bucharest, with three days per week in the office and two days working from home. You will collaborate with an experienced international engineering organization across multiple locations and time zones. No regular business travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based parsers for diagnostic logs generated by enterprise server systems.
• Enhance backend capabilities that transform server diagnostic data into actionable information for technical support teams.
• Extend diagnostic and support tooling for new enterprise server technologies, including GPU and AI-enabled hardware.
• Contribute to automated support workflows that identify hardware faults and enable downstream remediation processes.
• Deliver reliable, production-ready functionality aligned with new hardware product releases and customer-support requirements.
• Investigate technical challenges involving complex server logs and develop maintainable software solutions to address them.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues across Romania, India, the United States, and other international teams while coordinating dependencies and technical deliverables.
• Participate in regular team synchronization and knowledge sharing while independently owning assigned development activities.

Position Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Strong professional software-development experience with demonstrated senior-level capability in Python.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, maintainable code, debugging, testing, and reliable production software.
• Experience with backend development, data processing, parsing, log analysis, or comparable development involving complex technical data.
• Ability to independently take ownership of technical assignments, identify dependencies, solve problems, and drive work through completion.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed international engineering environment.
• Fluent English sufficient for day-to-day technical communication and collaboration within a global team.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, Linux environments, large-scale data processing, server diagnostics, automation, AI/ML-related solutions, or hardware-support systems is an advantage.
